Stresa WE recap and Warhammer Fest news

The blog has been quite silent lately!

Well, if you think about it, it makes total sense. These past couple of weeks have been all about World Expo and its wonders, and I thought it was just better to lay low and wait in shame... XD

This doesn't mean I'm not going to talk about World Expo, but since I wasn't there, I think it will be just be much better than you head up to the sites of those who did. So here is a small collection of places where you will find reports and impressions on what has probably been the best miniature event in history!

And now links only in Spanish (for those who might know the language or do not might translating!)

Not being able to go has been very depressing... but World Expo is done now and it's time to look to the future!

The other day we woke up with the news that GW is going to organize some new kind of event, called Warhammer Fest. As you may already very well know, Games Workshop has decided to slowly kill Games Days to the point that in the year 2014, they have completely vanished from existence. Not even GD UK is going to happen, after about 30 years of history.

Apparently, this doesn't have to be the end of their flagship events (or even Golden Demon?). Warhammer Fest has been announced to take place in Coventry (strange, but cheaper I guess) for the month of October and it could be like a GD but different, or maybe more of the same "huge store" kind of event that GW has punished us with in the last few years. Who knows! There's certainly not a lot of information right now about this, but it seems like it will be a 2 day event and that Golden Demon will be held on Sunday. We certainly do not know much more about it but as soon as I hear anything I will certainly tell you all about it here!

It coincides with Scale Model Challenge in the Netherlands, but with so many Open format contests all around the calendar, here's me hoping for the rebirth of Golden Demon! Fingers crossed!
